Meet the Teacher:

Mrs. Laura Hauger

Hello! I’m Mrs. Hauger. I am the 6th Grade Homeroom teacher and the 3rd-6th Grade Science teacher. I’ve been part of Bloomfield Elementary School since 2013 when I began my teaching clinicals during college. In May of 2014, I completed my Student Teaching in the same classroom and also accepted the position after my Cooperating Teacher’s retirement. Since then, I have had the honor and privilege of strengthening our upper block science department with a hands-on approach. It’s messy, sometimes loud, but a lot of fun! I also get to teach 6th Grade Reading where we get to build our vocabulary knowledge and reading skills. I am also a co-sponsor for the Bloomfield Elementary Student Council.

My favorite thing about Bloomfield is how supportive the community members, businesses, and parents are. For me, especially, whenever I need materials or resources for science, I am able to reach out and find friendly, helpful smiles that are willing to help in any way they can. For that, I am truly grateful and blessed!
