The Bloomfield-Wausa golf team competed in the Niobrara-Verdigre Cougars golf invite on Wednesday, May 1. The meet was held at Rolling Hills Country Club in Wausa due to the flooding in Niobrara. The meet was host to 8 teams. It was a very competitive meet with 4 teams finishing with 5 strokes for the overall title. Neligh-Oakdale tied with Boyd County for first place with a team score of 363. The Bloomfield-Wausa team tied with Orchard-Clearwater for third with a team score of 368. Individually, Mitchell Mackeprang earned runner-up honors with a score of 80, which was one stroke out of first place. Derek Gillilan finished in 5th place with a score of 85. The team competes in the Randolph invite on Monday, May 6.
The track team will travel to Randolph for their meet. The track members will be dismissed at 10:10 AM and depart at 10:20 AM. Meet time is 12:00 PM.

Sophomores will take their Pre ACT test (around 2 ½ hours)on Wednesday starting at 8:00 AM in Mrs. Rojas’ room. When done testing they will have their vision test.

Congratulations to the boys and girls track and field squads for their 6th and 3rd place finishes in yesterday's Lewis and Clark conference meet. Those medaling in the top 3 were: Trenton Holz 3rd in 200, Dalton Gieselman 2nd in discus, the 4X400 relay team of Cody Bruegman, Trenton Holz, Adam Johnson, and Braden Eisenhauer 3rd; Michaela Johnson and Ella McFarland tying for 2-3 in the pole vault, Bree Eisenhauer 2nd in 1600 and 3200 M runs, Ella McFarland 3rd in 3200, Alexandra Eisenhauer 2nd in 100, 2nd in 300 LH, 1st in 100 HH, and the 4X400 relay team of Kate Bruns, Lauren Pinkelman, Alexandra Eisenhauer and Bree Eisenhauer 3rd.
The Plainview Country Club hosted the Lewis & Clark Conference Meet on Monday, April 29. There were 10 teams that competed on the cold and windy day. The Bloomfield-Wausa golf team struggled throughout the day and finished in 4th place overall. Individually, Mitchell Mackeprang tied for 9th by shooting a 93 and ultimately placed 10th overall after losing on the first hole of a playoff. Derek Gillilan finished in 11th with a score of 95. The team plays Wednesday in the Niobrara-Verdigre Invite at Rolling Hills Golf Course.

The FFA Banquet, originally planned for Friday, May 3, has been moved to Sunday, May 5 @ 6 PM due to a conflict with a track meet.
Library books must be checked in on Tuesday for the seniors and May 13 for grades 7-11.
School computer check-in: Seniors need to turn in their computers to Room 106 by May 6 or earlier if you are done with them. If You are one of the seniors that are purchasing your computer, you still need to turn it in to get it set up for personal use. You will also need to get it paid for before graduation. Students 7-11 will need to turn in their computers to Room 106 by May 21 or earlier if you are done with them. ALL bills associated with your computer will need to be paid before you can be checked out of school for the year.
The track team will not be participating in the Stuart Track Meet on Tuesday.
