
There will be a Boating Skills Course offered May 25 at All Season’s Power Sports in Yankton SD. You must be at least 14 years old to take the course. The cost is $10.00 and it is a 6 hour course. If interested see the flyer on the bulletin boards.

Seniors and underclassmen, please check the lost and found table. Items will be taken to Goodwill at the end of the school year.

It's not too late to order your 2018-2019 yearbooks on sale now for $40.00. Bring a check or cash to Mrs. Houska or Mrs. Thiele.

Students will participate in the Earth Day Clean Up today. The 2:45 PM dismissal schedule will be followed. At 2:17 PM go to your HH/St Hall. Attendance will be taken and bags and gloves will be handed out. From there walk to the elementary and find out your assigned area to clean up.

The junior high track team will travel to Hartington today for their meet. The team will depart at 1:00 PM. Meet time is 2:30 PM.

Students participating in the WSC Math Contest today will return around 4:00 PM today.

Congratulations to the boys and girls track and field squad's for their 4th and 3rd place finishes in yesterday's Randolph Inv. Those medaling in the top 3 were: Dade Davis 2nd in long jump, Dalton Gieselman 3rd in shot, Trenton Holz 2nd in 100, Cory Martinson 3rd in 1600, the 4X100 relay team of Braden Eisenhauer, Trenton Holz, Adam Johnson, Dade Davis 2nd, the 4X400 relay team of Cody Bruegman, Trenton Holz, Adam Johnson and Braden Eisenhauer 1st, and Evan Haverkamp 1st in 400.
For the girls: Bree Eisenhauer 1st in 1600 and 3200, Alexandra Eisenhauer 1st in 100 HH, 100 and 300 LH, Michaela Johnson 3rd in pole vault and Ella McFarland 2nd in 3200

Library books must be checked in May 13 for grades 7-11.

The FCCLA Banquet will be held tonight starting at 7:00 PM in the auditorium.

The Bloomfield-Wausa golf team competed in the Niobrara-Verdigre Cougars golf invite on Wednesday, May 1. The meet was held at Rolling Hills Country Club in Wausa due to the flooding in Niobrara. The meet was host to 8 teams. It was a very competitive meet with 4 teams finishing with 5 strokes for the overall title. Neligh-Oakdale tied with Boyd County for first place with a team score of 363. The Bloomfield-Wausa team tied with Orchard-Clearwater for third with a team score of 368. Individually, Mitchell Mackeprang earned runner-up honors with a score of 80, which was one stroke out of first place. Derek Gillilan finished in 5th place with a score of 85. The team competes in the Randolph invite on Monday, May 6.

The track team will travel to Randolph for their meet. The track members will be dismissed at 10:10 AM and depart at 10:20 AM. Meet time is 12:00 PM.
