
The track team will travel to Plainview today for the Lewis/Clark Conference Track Meet. Meet time is 9:30 AM.

The Bloomfield-Wausa Golf Team traveled to the Pierce Invite on Saturday. The boys braved the harsh weather conditions of 30 mph wind and 23 degree wind chills. The tournament was shortened to nine holes due to the weather. The team put together a great effort and finished in 4th place as a team, only 9 strokes out of 1st place. Mitchell was the runner-up finisher individually. Derek Gillilan placed in 5th place and Jon Nissen was 16th. Congratulations!

District Track Schedule of Events


The Conference Track meet scheduled for tomorrow, April 27th, has been postponed until Monday, April 29th. The start time and order of events will remain the same.

There will be no Early Out Friday for the rest of the school year. School will be dismissed for everyone at 3:45 PM on Friday.

Friday at 7:00 PM, Honors Night for students who have distinguished themselves through outstanding academic, athletic, or extra-curricular achievement will be held. The evening will begin with a potluck supper. The main dish (turkey & ham), scalloped potatoes, beverages and table service will be provided. Please bring a dish; vegetable, salad, or dessert. The awards presentation will follow the supper in the Bloomfield Community Auditorium.

FFA officers will be helping set up the “Life on the Farm” at the fairgrounds. They will be gone during 8th period today. Friday, some Ag students will be attending this from 8:00 AM and return around 3:00 PM.

Bree Eisenhauer and Michaela Johnson have qualified for the Norfolk Track and Field Classic. Michaela will compete in the pole vault at 4:45 PM and Bree in the 3200 at 7:20 PM this evening. Please dismiss them at 2:30 PM.

The Spring Musical for grades 5-8 will be held tonight at 7:00 PM. A free will donation will be taken at the door.

The golf team is headed to Pierce on Saturday for the Pierce Invite. It starts at 9:00 AM.

There will be Community Youth Group tonight at 6:30 PM at the Methodist Church.

Congratulations to the boys and girls track and field squad's for their 10th and 5th place respective finishes in last Thursday's Pierce/Wausa Inv. The boys did not have anyone medal in the top 3, for the girls it was Bree Eisenhauer 1st in the 1600 and 3200, Michaela Johnson tying for 2nd place in the pole vault and Alexandra Eisenhauer 3rd in the 100 HH.
